Our Crop Night Get Away!

We had an employee crop Saturday night and we had so much fun! This was the first time I was able to crop my family! Here are some of our creations!

This was made with paper from Little Yellow Bicycle and Sandylion! The letters are chipboard letters from Little Davis Designs. I also added flourishes with my favorite stamps from FancyPants Designs.

Stickles added the perfect touch to this layout! This was one of my favorite pictures of Cassidy taken at Disney 2 years ago.

My favorite layout was Cassidy's First Communion. I used black velvet paper and Hambly Screen prints to create this awesome look!

Monica created this awesome layout using Little Yellow Bicycle & Carolee's creations paper, Bobunny rubons and Bazzill's cardstock with an edge.

Connie's working on Derrick's wedding album. She has completed over 30 pages and the pages are awesome!

Amy worked on her a layout of her trip to Italy! She loves using Jenni Bowlin products!

Wendy's layout was one of my favorites of the night! She used the new Jenni Bowlin paper, the new Bobunny paper, then new Prima flowers and the new Prima Bling! The picture doesn't do it justice!

A week in Destin

For those of you who didn't know, we spent a whole week in Destin, Florida! We had such a wonderful time! It was beautiful weather from the moment we got there to the moment we left! My son Dakota had to work so Mike and I took Cassidy and a friend of hers with us.

Our favorite thing to do was taking a party barge out into the bay and looking at all the local sights. It was so exciting when Dolphins actually swam up to your boat! They are everywhere! They seem to love hanging out with people.

If you look at this picture closer, you can see 5 dolphins surfacing by the jet ski!

Cassidy and Janea The water and scenery were so beautiful! We stayed at Destin West, which is a favorite of ours! It has become a yearly tradition!

New York, New York!

Trumph Ice Skating Rink in Central Park
Happy Easter....Goodbye kiss!

Me in Central Park

My handsom son Dakota!

Everyone has been asking me why I went to New York. I went to New York to see my son play at Carnegie Hall. The Lafayette High School Band played there. Selected bands from around the country were selected to go. Carnegie Hall was an amazing experience! The Band was amazing too!

I loved New York! It has so much history. It is a mixture between Paris and New Orleans. It is definitely a place to go and visit....or shop!

Central Park is nothing like I thought it would be. It needs to have a better name then Central Park. It is huge! It is a New York get away....to escape from all the traffic and the cluster of people. You can see people running, ice skating, kissing, eating, artist drawing and people taking tours on horse drawn carriages. The whole thing is like a dream place! It is so beautiful!

I went to China Town and got this really cool $1,500 purse for only $30. Of course, it's not real, but it sure looks real! The best part about it is it's Pink and White!!! China Town is the place to go to get Designer stuff (Sunglasses, purses, watches, jewelry, ties, belts) for a fraction of the price. These products are made using the same quality of materials, but manufactured by different company's........and much cheaper. I guess I can use the word "Imitation". I'm one of those people that would "Never" pay $1,500 for a purse.....It's not practical. And besides.....just think of all the scrapbooking stuff you can buy with all that money??????

The last place I went was to Times Square. Vicki Elliot told me to go to Sephora's. I took her advice...and was there for over 2 hours. It's this awesome place where you can find any kind of make-up available in names like "Smashbox", "Two-Faced", "Clinique", "Sephora". ......and many, many more! The fun part about the store is that you can try anything they sell! From Mascara to eye shadows to face powders....you can try it all! I have to say...I looked like a clown leaving that place....but it was alot of fun!
Also, I stayed at the Blakely Hotel. It was the nicest place! Everyone there was so wonderful! The hotel is so quiet and cozy. The rooms are very nice with big flat screen tv's. It is in an awesome location....and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling there!

On the way to CHA!

I'm packing my bags and our cat Miley got in my suitcase yesterday afternoon and hasn't got out yet! It's like she knows I'm leaving! Isn't that the sweetest thing??? Last year I was leaving for CHA and it was my daughter who wanted to be in my suitcase!
I'm really nervous about leaving. A special thank you to Paula for keeping Cassidy the whole week for me!

I'm bringing my laptop with me to California. I'll try and post a few pictures everyday on the website of some of the layouts and new products.
Notice the new Membership shirts? They came in today! It was so exciting! The shirts are white with 3 different color bling rhinestones! This year we put the date on them. That was really a last minute addition because the shirts were designed with the two intertwining rings around TM. I then thought it would be cool to put a 2 and an 8 on each side! I was pretty proud of myself!
Make sure you come by the store and get your shirt if your a 2008 member! Make sure you bring your membership packet with you to claim your shirt. If your not a member, it's not too late! As of right now we have plenty of shirts in lots of sizes! It's the perfect time to join!

We're Headed to CHA this Friday!

I'm so excited! We're leaving for CHA this Friday! It's always so exciting seeing and ordering all those new products! The internet is full of CHA "sneak peeks"! My favorite line so far is Cosmo Cricket! Look how cool all these new products are! The Blackboard Chipboard looks so awesome! It is suppose to be black all the way through! The new "boy" line is so cool...love the gear paper!
On the other hand, look how cool this distressed line is! Awesome colors!!!!
Of course Heidi Swapp has an awesome new line of products. And Little Davis, who was going out of business was bought out by Fiskars! I can't wait to see all their new stuff! Basic Grey hasn't revealed their new releases yet. I think they have at least 4 new paper lines. We always come back with lots of pictures. When I get back from CHA I'll make sure I put on my blog our favorite lines!
