Trumph Ice Skating Rink in Central Park

Happy Easter....Goodbye kiss!

Me in Central Park
My
handsom son Dakota!
Everyone has been asking me why I went to New York. I went to New York to see my son play at Carnegie Hall. The Lafayette High School Band played there. Selected bands from around the country were selected to go. Carnegie Hall was an amazing experience! The Band was amazing too!
I loved New York! It has so much history. It is a mixture between Paris and New Orleans. It is definitely a place to go and visit....or shop!
Central Park is nothing like I thought it would be. It needs to have a better name then Central Park. It is huge! It is a New York get away....to escape from all the traffic and the cluster of people. You can see people running, ice skating, kissing, eating, artist drawing and people taking tours on horse drawn carriages. The whole thing is like a dream place! It is so beautiful!
I went to China Town and got this really cool $1,500 purse for only $30. Of course, it's not real, but it sure looks real! The best part about it is it's Pink and White!!! China Town is the place to go to get Designer stuff (Sunglasses, purses, watches, jewelry, ties, belts) for a fraction of the price. These products are made using the same quality of materials, but manufactured by different company's........and much cheaper. I guess I can use the word "Imitation". I'm one of those people that would "Never" pay $1,500 for a purse.....It's not practical. And besides.....just think of all the scrapbooking stuff you can buy with all that money??????
The last place I went was to Times Square. Vicki Elliot told me to go to Sephora's. I took her advice...and was there for over 2 hours. It's this awesome place where you can find any kind of make-up available in names like "Smashbox", "Two-Faced", "Clinique", "Sephora". ......and many, many more! The fun part about the store is that you can try anything they sell! From Mascara to eye shadows to face powders....you can try it all! I have to say...I looked like a clown leaving that place....but it was alot of fun!
Also, I stayed at the Blakely Hotel. It was the nicest place! Everyone there was so wonderful! The hotel is so quiet and cozy. The rooms are very nice with big flat screen tv's. It is in an awesome location....and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling there!
